Directions
From North of Atlanta
Take I-75/I-85 South to North Avenue Exit. At the 5th intersection,
turn
left on Piedmont, then make an immediate right on Ponce de Leon Ave.
Take Ponce de Leon for several miles, then turn right on
East Lake
Road NE.
Turn right on Paden Circle, then left on W. Howard Ave. The
Tavern will be
after the 5th street on the left, next to Atlanta Ave.
From South of Atlanta
Take I-75/I-85 North to Freedom Parkway. Go straight at the exit
ramp, then
veer right toward the Carter Center. Turn right when Freedom Parkway
dead-ends
onto Moreland Avenue, then stay in the far right lane to turn
onto DeKalb Avenue. Turn left on DeKalb and drive for about 3
miles;
DeKalb turns into
W. Howard Ave. when it reaches Decatur. Stay left
when W. Howard reaches Adair Street. The Tavern will be on the left.
From Decatur
From the Square, take N. McDonough Street toward E. Trinity Place;
jog left to remain on McDonough. Turn right on W. Howard Ave.
Thinking Man Tavern will be .5 mile on the right, just past Greenwood
Cir.
